About us

Fifty years in the field. One family at the helm.

Caliboro Voyages was founded by Jorge Guazzini, former Managing Director of COCHA's DMC division, leading company in the Chilean touristic industry, and a fixture of Chilean travel for over five decades.

We like to take personal care of all our clients. That's why the partners at Caliboro Boutique Voyages are always involved and aware of all programs designed for them.

Every client and passenger is different and so are their expectations. We like to design each experience with the thought that it will last a lifetime.

For travel advisors and tour operators, we work on net rates with quick response, and deliver itineraries ready to share with your traveler.

We're a member of LATA, the Latin American Travel Association, and the trusted Chilean partner of Road Scholar in the United States. References from both consumers and trade available on request.

How we work

Four principles, smoothly delivered.

01

Creativity

Because we will always 'think out of the box' to satisfy your client's expectations and give different solutions than the obvious.

02

Reliability

Because you can rely on our deep understanding of the particular requirements of the demanding and discerning travellers and what are the destinations, features and aspects they like most when visiting our country.

03

Expertise

Because more than thirty years of experience in this business, gives an extensive knowledge about Chile on one hand, and an excellent sense for details and relations with suppliers, on the other.

04

Uniqueness

Because we create tailor-made journeys for our passengers and not just a trip, we will always think about giving a 'once in a lifetime' experience matching their expectations and personal interests.

Meet the team

The people who'll design your trip.

Jorge brings five decades of fieldwork. Every lodge he recommends, he visited before it had a reputation. Every guide he trusts, he watched develop. Suppliers across Chile know his name and treat his clients accordingly.

Cristóbal — sociologist, fifteen years in consumer research before joining — brings structured thinking about what travelers actually want. He runs the operation that makes Jorge's craft scale.

Most boutique DMCs lean one way or the other. The trips that surprise people are designed at the intersection.

"Working with Caliboro has always been a very smooth experience — they're an efficient, resourceful team with a genuinely good energy. What I value most is that when an operational hiccup arises (and in this business, something always does), they respond quickly and with sound judgement. For any colleague looking for a trustworthy Chilean DMC, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."
Gonzalo · Hollbrook, USA
"We've worked with DMCs across South America. Caliboro is the only one where the founder himself answered our 11pm WhatsApp."
